Human Business Vietnam was founded in August 2015 by Ms. Huynh Thu Huong.

Huong is known as an experienced and highly effective business and HR leader in Vietnam.
In June 2017, Huong is appointed Advisory Board Member, Shidler Business MBA and HR MBA Programs in Vietnam, University of Hawaii at Manoe.
In 2017, Huong is the International Judge of 2017 Myanmar Employer Awards.

Huong organized the First Vietnam Professional Award nation-wide in 2013 and designed the HR Academy Program in the same year.

Huong’s passion and commitment is to partner with organizations in applying new HR service models, insights and technologies that help build HR capabilities, enable the highest possible team and individual performance and gradually turns HR to become the winning strategic partner of businesses in Vietnam.

Prior to Human Resources Business Vietnam, Huong has been a University and English lecturer, start-up entrepreneur, business developer, government relation officer, HR director, management consultant and a country head of an international consulting firm.

Huong’s advisory and facilitation approach is based on a combination of diversified and in-depth experience, real-time insights and data, HR best practices and the latest industry research.

Huong is skillful in the design and facilitation of HR, leadership development and inspirational career learning modules. Before becoming a Management Consultant and Career Coach,

Huong has worked with start-ups, sales, marketing, logistics, and government, trade, and public relations organizations.

Huong is a constant learner who holds an MBA (University of Hawaii at Manoa) and is a Beta Gamma Sigma member with an outstanding academic record.

Huong has been a member of the Board of Directors and General Director of Towers Watson Vietnam since 2012.

Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Huong is responsible for directing the growing business of Towers Watson in Vietnam and focusing on growth, profitability, client relationships, and professional excellence.

As a trusted advisor, Huong helps organizations prepare for the future by consulting with them in the areas of organization structure and design, capability building, talent and leadership development, workforce strategy and planning, total rewards design and implementation, employee engagement, performance management, HR transformation, communication, and industrial relations.

Huong’s achievements at Towers Watson include a significant improvement of Vietnam’s NOI (net operating income) by 300% in 3 years, an increase of sales revenue by 30% year on year, and the development of a team professional facilitators, HR consultants, and sales professionals that won Towers Watson’s 2015 Asia Pacific Award

Huong’s significant milestones at Towers Watson are the introduction of the first HR Award in Vietnam – The Professional of the Year Award – and the launch of Vietnam’s first HR Academy

After the merge of Willis and Towers Watson, in 2016 Huong took the new role as Country Representative of Towers Watson and Senior Advisor- Human Capital and Benefits of Willis Towers Watson Vietnam.

Launched in 2013 and organized annually, the HR Professional of the Year Award is Vietnam’s first National HR Award organized by Towers Watson Vietnam under Huong’s leadership.

The HR Academy Program

The HR Academy Program is a uniquely differentiated Learning and Development service introduced to the Vietnam market by Towers Watson under Huong’s leadership.

Launched in 2013, the HR Academy Program helps organizations, business leaders, and HR professionals build and strengthen HR competencies and capabilities.

The HR Academy Program is designed in modules that enable learners to establish and upgrade their HR functional skills and knowledge, and to prepare for successful long-term careers in business leadership and Human Resources.

Over a period of 24 months, the HR Academy Program has offered more than 60 workshops, attracting nearly 1000 individuals and more than 300 corporate clients.
